  Paid $8 for a car wash that left me with horrible mud streaks coming out when I went in with just a little soda spilled down the doors. Ended up driving to the little self-service car wash on the other side of the parking lot and actually getting my car CLEAN for $2.75. I also purchased 14 gallons of gas for the third time this week and some misc odds and ends of "road food". Apparently, paying for a car wash that makes my car dirtier than when I started was pretty funny to the cashier. It isn't polite to insult customers, especially repeat regular customers, ever. It's REALLY not cool to be derisive to one who paid for a faulty, crappy product that was falsely advertised (car wash indeed) and then to refuse a refund because they "aren't responsible" for Their Own car wash and equipment. The refusal to take responsibility for a problem clearly caused by their product was a surprise to me as the entire incident was started and over so quickly. One excuse was that it could have been an old code. I just don't understand how that was even a consideration since I had purchased it From Her less than ten minutes before, and, just to be clear, do old codes make cars muddy and new codes make cars clean? The customer service that followed was abysmally unprofessional and down-right childish. I would be embarrased to have that cashier associated with my store. All details of this transaction, including the receipt, have been forwarded to the Shell Corporation home office. If they respond, I will update.
